Urban ecosystems contribute to biodiversity, and provide critical environmental services. They also connect communities.

Urban streams and rivers like the Los Angeles River provide services like flood management, habitat, cooling, and support for physical and mental health. They also join city dwellers together, and allow them access to nature.

Fire, invasive species, land use planning, stakeholder capacity building - these are all elements of ecolog management.

I’ve worked for years to help agencies, organizations, and communities address ways they can increase resilience, transform sustainability, and support environmental health.
